Privacy Policy

RAGUSA (“we”, “our”, the “app”) is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and why. This is a template — review it with a legal professional before publishing your app to the stores.

Information we collect

• Location — only while you use “Guide me” walking navigation, to show your position and route. It is processed on your device and not stored by us.
• Questions you ask the AI guide — used to generate responses. In the current version, answers are generated on-device; when connected to an AI service, your messages are sent to that provider to produce a reply.
• Basic, anonymous usage analytics — to understand which features are useful (if enabled).

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not track your location in the background.
• We do not require an account to use the core app.

Third-party services

The map uses OpenStreetMap, CARTO and Esri tile services, and walking routes use the OSRM routing service. These providers may receive your map requests. Future AI features may use a third-party model provider, governed by their own privacy terms.

Data retention & your rights

Saved content (offline data, recent chats) lives on your device and can be cleared at any time from Settings. You may contact us to request deletion of any data associated with you.

Children

RAGUSA is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
